The number one reason for us is all about saving time!

Time is the most precious thing of all. Most home laundry appliances take over 2 hours to wash and dry clothes, and that’s just if we have one load of laundry to do! If we have larger items like bedding or blankets, they can take even longer to wash due to the thicker and heavier material. If we go to a laundromat, there are multiple benefits. The machines at the laundromats are more water-efficient and spin faster than normal home appliances, so we can finish washing and drying in just 45 minutes! Due to the machines spinning faster to wring out more water from the clothes, it also means we don’t have to spend as much time drying our clothes. Plus, there are more machines available, so if we need to wash clothes, bedding items, and a load of towels, we can do it all in one sitting!

Using a laundromat versus home appliances also saves us money!

Right off the bat, we’re not obviously needing to buy any of the equipment, and remember when we said our machines are more water efficient? Imagine how much water you use just to wash one load of laundry at home. That’s water and electricity you’re not needing to pay for like at home! Now, imagine if the machine leaks. That water bill can skyrocket, not to mention the maintenance cost to repair the appliances. At a laundromat, we can simply chill and read a book, and no need to worry about that pesky water bill.

Don’t know how to get a stain or smell out? Laundromat staff are there to help!

Ever forget you have a pen in your pocket and now all your clothes look more like splatter art? No need to spend hours googling and testing different hacks by yourself at home. Laundromat staff are always on site, ready to help with any questions. If we’ve got tough stains or smells, they can guide us on how to best tackle the issue at hand. Besides stain help, there are also services like Wash and Fold available. We can just drop off our clothes and get them back, washed, dried, and folded in as soon as 48 hours.
